German-Japanese Innovation Initiatives 160

Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) have launched the “German-Japanese Innovation Initiatives 160.”  The initiative will promote interactive innovation for solving global issues including demographic change, global warming and more beside.

In cooperation with the German and the Japanese governments as well as economic organizations, the kick-off event will feature a keynote speech by Ms. Saori Dubourg, Member of the Board of Executive Directors of BASF, Germany’s largest chemical company, and a member of the German Council for Sustainable Development. A presentation of the latest corporate examples that serve as models for Japan-Germany innovation exchange will follow.
