DWIH Tokyo funding for events in Japan

DWIH Tokyo offers financial subsidies to its Supporters for events in Japan. The events have to be organized or co-organized by the German institution (DWIH Tokyo Supporter).

Anyone from an institution which is Supporter of the DWIH Tokyo can apply for the funding. List of DWIH Tokyo Supporters

DWIH funding can be applied for up to 5000 Euro for associated supporters or up to 8000 Euro for main supporters. It can be used for flight and accommodation costs, catering and interpretation costs among others.

Events funded by the DWIH Tokyo must meet the following requirements:

  • They must take place in Japan
  • The applying German institution must participate in the organization of the event (no assumption of costs for third-party events, e.g. travel costs to international conferences without organizational participation)
  • They must be open to the public or open to a larger group of people by invitation (no cost coverage for closed events of existing cooperation partners only). All events funded by the DWIH Tokyo will be published on the DWIH website.
