Quantum Technology and Intellectual Property Seminar with Leinweber & Zimmermann

The field of quantum technologies has seen a significant increase in patent applications over the past decade, outpacing all other technological sectors. Given the substantial global investments in this area, this trend is expected to continue.
This seminar will provide an in-depth discussion on the protection of quantum technology innovations in Europe and Japan. Shinichi Yorozu, Deputy Director of the RIKEN Center for Quantum Computing, and Masayoshi Terabe, Chief of Quantum Technology at Deloitte Japan and representative of Q-STAR, will present the current state of quantum research and development as well as the evolving quantum industry in Japan. Patent attorneys from Leinweber & Zimmermann, an AHK Japan member company, will provide an overview of the European patent landscape and discuss strategies for protecting intellectual property in this rapidly advancing field.
